Aftermarket head units from Alpine, Kenwood, and Pioneer are also supported.

How quickly can I set it up?
Most customers get it up and running within a few minutes. It’s plug & play with minimal setup required, similar to a new phone to establish basic settings.

Do I need any additional apps to make it work?
Nope, we've pre-installed the most popular streaming apps to the box for you. The Google Play store is accessible from the box to download any app if you wish.
In order to access the streaming options, you will need a WiFi signal from mobile hotspot, SIM card, or in-vehicle internet.
The streaming apps still require an active subscription with those streaming providers, we do not give supply a free account to those apps.
Will it work on iPhone & Android?
Yes, The Magic Box™ 3.0 works great with both iPhone & Android. We simply use the CarPlay channel to allow our device to function so even if you have an Android phone, you'll still click into CarPlay from your display screen.
How to watch Netflix from Apple CarPlay?
Simply download the Netflix app within the Google Play Store within the Magic Box device. Log into your account and start streaming your favorite shows.
How to play videos on CarPlay?
Turn your cars display screen into a smart TV using The Magic Box™ 3.0. Simply plug The Magic Box™ 3.0 into your car's USB port and the regular CarPlay or Android Auto screen will be replaced with ours. Download any app and start streaming with The Magic Box™ 3.0.

So far it has been a great setup & seamless integration with only a couple things that could use some help/improvement. There are time where it is laggy and slow. For some reason I can’t get the factory radio to play through even when pushing the button so it over rides all things audio from the factory (I e I can use the map from the box and audio from the stereo) , for some reason I can’t get the box to leave the setting of always leave the WiFi on so that it picks up my WiFi hotspot that I have for the vehicle. While the SIM card that came with it was easy to setup I don’t have great service in my area so was able to get better service for cheaper using a diff carrier as my hot spot. After it runs for awhile a delay starts to happen with the maps so can make navigating fairly frustrating.
When I have my hot spot running the streaming has been great and the kiddos love it.

Was on the road so difficult to focus on setting up the Magic Box as i could not connect via the Ford truck hotspot but turns out I had not signed up for it as I had thought I had... So I purchased the plan with the SIM card, first T-Mobile is not a great choice for me as I avoid cities like the plague and second, it seems the card is sensitive to just how far it is placed in the device. It wasn't working so talked to tech guy and with a little adjustment to card position, I got connected both with the SIM and the truck hotspot. With that behind me, I'm totally impressed with the Magic Box and its capabilities! Would be 5 stars other than the SIM card issue.

I was having issues with the Magic Box 2.0 and after working with the great support team I upgraded to the Magic Box 3.0 system and it has been working perfectly. Very fast, great interface, easy to upgrade applications.
