I installed Ottocast, and it worked great with two exceptions. One, my car would hijack my calls in my house. Annoying, but not fatal. Since Magic seems to disconnect when I shut down my car, I do not have that problem anymore. The bigger issue was that Ottocast would shut down the audio system completely many times when I made a call out through CarPlay. I would have to shut down the car for several minutes before it reset. Simply shuttling down the audio system would not work. It was completely bricked. I have not had tis problem yet with Magic. It's only been. couple weeks, but I have made several calls.

Could be a configuration issue: my car is a 2018 MB AMG 63 wagon with a Burmeister audio. I put in a new DSP/amp and speakers but that did nothing to solve the connection problem. But the system sounds much better. 😃
